Howe Sound Minor Ball Needs Adult Umpires!

Ball Season is right around the corner.
Everyone is looking forward to getting back on the field and enjoying the sights and sounds of baseball and softball!

HSMB is looking for new and returning umpires of all ages to take on this important role in making our season happen.  Games are played almost every evening of the week and on the weekends.

So we will need lots of umpires!

Anyone aged ten and up can be an umpire and HSMB provides access to clinics and training along with in-season support to learn and become the best umpire you can be.

HSMB works with the BCBUA and the SBBC UA to provide in-person clinics and training for all umpires.

The BCBUA In-Person Mechanics Clinic is scheduled for Feb 15, 2026.
The clinic is included as part of the BCBUA membership but to become certified you must complete the appropriate level 1 or Level 2 online sessions.

The SBBC umpire clinic will be held Sat., Feb 28, 2026.  You must register to attend the clinic.  To receive certification you must and complete the online requirements through the links in the SBBC UMPIRE CLINICS below.

There is a membership fee to pay with both SBBC and BCBUA.  Howe Sound Minor Ball will reimburse all youth and junior HSMB members who complete certification and umpire at least two games.
