The BC Baseball Umpires Association (BCBUA) provides a combination of online and in-person clinics for all new and returning members. Membership and annual training are required for all umpires wanting to be certified.

Online, Level 1 and Level 2 in-person clinics are now scheduled and will run through April. This training is included when you become a member.
When registering: HSMB is part of the Lower Mainland-West region.

Squamish In-Person Mechanics Clinic

Level 1 - 9:00 am
Level 2 -1:00 pm
(if we have enough participation, the instructors may run both at the same time)

You can attend any of the clinics as your schedule permits.

Online Clinics
To access online clinics, register/login at BCBUA.ca and follow the Education link to the BCBUA Education Portal (another site to login to...). From there register for the L1 and/or L2 online clinics

Thursday, February 29 @ 5:30 PM
Thursday, March 7 @ 5:30 PM
Wednesday, March 27 @ 5:30 PM

Monday, April 8 @ 5:30 PM

All new umpires must complete Level 1 unless they are exempted by BCBUA.
Returning umpires and those umping U13 and higher will complete Level 2.
